I am sorry that I have been so behind on this blog!! It's my personal side, but we moved to a new house during Christmas and New Year, and it has been a very busy winter so far. I still have lot's of pictures to share from sessions in 2011. So today I will post some of those!

It's been very busy at Cherry Blossom photography, and I have many sessions to update! Today, I wanted to post about this session with this beautiful sister and brother! They were so nice and polite and then they started to be funny and made me laugh a lot! Such a sweet family, and I had so much fun!

Fall mini session! - Ottawa Gatineau baby photographer

We had a really fun fall mini session last weekend! This little girl was just an angel. She was all smiley throughout the session. I was a little surprised that she was already waving her hand back to me at seven months old! Her mother is Japanese and it was so nice speaking in Japanese with her.

We did some Christmas portraits, too and they turned out to be super cute!! I can tell that she is already excited about her first Christmas coming next month!!

I met this super cute little boy last weekend. We wanted to do some pictures with a pumpkin and it turned out to be so cute with his green dinosaur costume. I loved it!!! The session took time, but he was so patient, and gave us lot's of adorable expsessions.

They were the cutest little dolls! There is something about twins, each one of them is so cute, but when both are together their cuteness is 100x more! It was so cute that if they sit close enough, they can't stop touching each other. It was such a fun session!

I was so lucky to have another chance to photograph this one year old boy!! He was full of smiles and I had so much fun with this family. I love this age, just starting to walk but still not very stable yet. He was so cute! It just made me want to run and hug him!

I had a wonderful session with this family!
Aren't they the cutest?! They were both such good models for this long session. They were so cute - big sister was so pround to have such a cute baby sister! I can see they will be the best of friends as they grow together. Sisters are so much fun! (I know because I have one too!)

If anyone is expecting, or already has little babies, and thinking about cloth diapers, this family owns a great cloth diaper company.

We all know that cloth diapers are the best for baby's skin, and of course it is environmentally friendly. Their cloth diapers are so cute as well!!

I wish I knew them when my kids were babies!

This cute little boy came to my studio back in February, and now he came back for his first birthday session! This is what makes me so happy - to see as babies grow!

It was such a beautiful morning and we decided to get some pictures outside first. We found a lovely little park, and it was so nice to go for a walk. He sure enjoyed crawling around! We had fun back in the studio, too, of course.

There are so many cute pictures to choose from... But these are my favorite!

Aren't we having a great summer this year?! I had a wonderful session with this family on a very beautiful day. I had met them last year in a session when these little boys were still 11 months old. I was so happy to see them again! They have grown up so much in a year. It was so fun to play with them during the session. I can't believe how much energy two year old boys can have!

What is more fun than celebrating a baby's 1st birthday? He recently turned one, and I was so excited to have this session. He was so adrable I could just play with him all day.... I especially loved his curly hair.

I am not sure if he really liked his cake, but I love that expression on his face " Is this yummy?" So presious! Happy birthday J!

I had a wonderful session with this family! This little baby is just over one month old and she is very alert. She really looks at you and I think she is ready to give us her first smile. When I heard that they didn't have any pictures of her sleeping, I really wanted to try for that.

She really loved to sleep in her mommy's arms, but I still got some beautiful pictures of her sleeping on the blankets too!

I just got back from Japan last week. We had an amazing three months there with my family and friends. It was a very long stay, but I realized that I needed it. My kids turned three and five while we were there, and they both had so many fun and new experiences everyday! And they got so much better at speaking Japanese, which makes me very happy.

Here are some pictures from Japan. It is a tradition to celebrate age three, five and seven. They wore their Kimono and Hakama, and visited a shrine.

The cherry blossoms were so beautiful! These are some of my favorite flowers, as it's also my business name - I enjoyed taking pictures of them of course!

I was so happy that I could have this session before I go to Japan. This 13 day old precious girl was very alert, and I am sure that she knew she was being a model, because she really didn't want to sleep and miss anything! But I was glad that I still got some cute pictures of her sleeping. Her big brother was so sweet to his little sister - he must be so proud of being a big brother!

As I am announcing on my website, I am going to go to Japan for three months. I am very excited to see my family and friends, and my kids will have great time too!
I will not be scheduling any sessions from March until the end of June. It is sad that I will miss the best season for beautiful outdoor photos!

I always love six month old babies. But this little boy was just too cute! He was such a perfect model too. He was all happy and smiley throughout the session. His parents are from Japan and I enjoyed talking with them in Japanese. There are way too many cute pictures to choose from to share but these are my favorites!

I had a fun session with this family a couple of weeks ago. Two year old and three month old brothers. Aren't they both so handsome!? Big brother W was a little bit nervous at first (who isn't in front of my big camera and lighting...), but we played a lot and had fun with baloons and I was so happy that I got his big cutest smile in the end!

I recently had a maternity photo session with this wonderful couple, and it was such a pleasure. We chatted and laughed a lot, and were very relaxed throughout the session. She has the most beautiful round belly, as you can see in all of these picutres.

They are expecting a little girl, and I can't wait to see her again for the newborn session!!

I had a fun session with a beautiful two year old girl. I know it is usually a difficult age for a studio session but it wasn't for her. She smiles, poses for the camera and even sings a song for me! She was such a perfect model!

We just got back from our vacation! We went to Mont-Tremblant for four days and I loved this beautiful little town. The colour of the leaves were changing while we were there and it was such a amazing view.

We had a little vacation last week. My mother was visiting us from Japan and we had a great time. While she was here, my son just turned four years old. He was so spoilt with so many presents! It was so nice to see her and spend time together since we live so far away and have missed each other so long. I am already looking forword to seeing her again in Japan next year!

I had a great time taking pictures of these two cutest girls. They are not just beautiful, so sweet too. Little girl was always happy and smiley and let me cuddle and big sister even gave me a sweet hug during the session. Oh my heart melted!
